our puppy is about 5 months old about two days ago he was not acting like he usually does.he was so playful, now he acts like he has no life in him,he does not eat his food and has loose stools.Today his stools look like the color of dark blood.I am wondering if he has parvo.

We just got this puppy, not even a year old yet, and we think he has parvo. We aren't sure though. He has had diarrhea for two days now, although he hasn't gone anymore. He did have blood in his once this morning. he hasn't lost his appetite at all and is drinking plenty water. I would greatly appreciate it if someone could reply and let me know their opinion.

I have 4 puppies who all came down with parvo...and ofcoarse it would have been to expensive to take all three to the vet.the first one that came down with it did not survive, he acted like he was well so i stopped giving him what had been recommended and he was not well and died. but the other three puppies all came down with parvo and now knowing the symptoms caught it on time...i fed them pedialyte with a syringe, natural honey, and rice water w/sugar (boil rice and take the water from it). They all survived. I would administer this every hour and of coarse disinfect the syringe between puppies and between uses...it was very time consuming but well worth it..also i put three drops of bleach in their drinking water and would rinse out the water dish daily.

Hi,
I have a 13 week old Teacup Chichuaua. "Rhea". She has had her first set of shots. The last two days she has been vomiting.( about a 1/2 teaspoon, of mild yellow, flem like substance.( Twice yesterday, twice now today, and it is only 10 am.)
Her poo is consistent with that of a "tootsie roll", so I think remains of a normal consistency. She stopped eating her "Teacup,Science Diet, puppy food, about three days ago. She drinks water, however, nothing like before.
She would scarf up her "training, reward treats", if I gave her the opportunity, so this tells me, she still has an appetite.
With this being said, normal poo,and an appetite, Parvo thus far, does not appear to be the culprit.
Now, New Years Eve, I was gone for about three hours,( first time at the long of a period), when I got home, she was nearly in a state of panic. Her eyes were so wet from tears, and she was nearly hyperventilating. Boy, did I ever feel like a smuck!! I am wondering if this may have something to do with it.
I gave her some chicken noodle soup broth, and she drank it up.Its been about 20 minutes so I hope she is able to keep it down.
I am going to purchase the Parvo K, as I beleive in homopathic medicines. This looks like it is a good product to keep on hand.
I am hoping somebody will respond to my inquiry, I am anxious to hear anybody's thoughts regarding my little Rhea.

Guys, remember that this product will help prevent your puppy from getting parvo. It's strengthens their immune system in general and has a mild parvo vaccine.
