He was a chihuahua mix, in a beautiful yellow color. He hated it when you made a kissing sound around him, loved playing with our other dogs, jumping from couch to couch trying to catch them, and his best friend was a plastic goose that he always slept. He was great.

Then, he came down with parvo.

He started showing symptoms about 4 or 5 days before it hit him. I went to the vet and got him a booster shot. Then, fed and watered him through a syringe in his mouth. He tried fighting the parvo, he
was a very head-strong dog. Emotionally strong. But on September 6th, 2009, the parvo won. My boyfriend was the one that found him in his kennel. The tears have come so easily ever since. No longer will we open the front door to see his wagging tail, or wake up to him hogging half the bed. Never again will we have
to turn our heads because his chewing is so loud, you can hear him eat in the other room, or will he playfully bite us because we are acting like we are going to kiss him.

Never again will he beg for food, or bark when he hears a dog outside barking. Maxx was a big dog in a tiny dog’s body. It kills me what happened to him. No dog deserves that.
